Religious diversity in our school

Our students from 6th grade are investigating about the diversity we find in our school in relation to religion.

Students are learning about their religion and the other beliefs. Learning from each other.

In the area of religion and also in values they have learnt other religion of the world and have  investigated about the ones that we have at the school and in our educative community.

They have created mind maps with the main information.

 

 

 

And they have also create presentations with the main information of their own religion.

We will create cooperative groups on ETwinning with students of different nationalities to share their conclusions. This will give them the opportunity to use the language and to face cultural and social differences. 

 

This activity will help us to internationalize our school and to show our students different realities.

 

Nuestro alumnado de sexto está investigando sobre la diversidad religiosa que podemos encontrar en nuestro centro. 

 

Tanto en el área de Religión con en Valores han aprendido los aspectos más importantes de algunas religiones del mundo e investigado lo esencial acerca de las que encontramos en el CEIP Marqueses de Linares  y en nuestra comunidad educativa. 

 

Han volcado todas estas investigaciones en min maps y han creado presentaciones en Power Point.

 

Crearemos grupos cooperativos en la plataforma ETwinning con los estudiantes de diferentes nacionalidades de los países implicados en el proyecto para compartir sus conclusiones. Esto les dará la oportunidad de usar el idioma extranjero para comunicarse y superar diferencias culturales y sociales. 

Esta actividad nos ayudará a internacionalizar nuestro centro y mostrar a nuestro alumnado diferentes realidades.

World Map of our Project Nationalities

Here you have the interactive world map of all the nationalities we have in our schools.

This is a great resource to learn from and to be conscious of the multicultural enrichment of our project.

One of the main aims of our Erasmus + KA229 ‘Enrichment is the result of meeting’ is that of enrich us from the different cultures and nationalities of our school and the other partners. We also look for the opening of our school to Europe and to internationalise it.

 

 

Aquí podéis ver el mapa mundial interactivo de las nacionalidades de nuestro centro y los países socios.

Es un gran recurso del que aprender y ser conscientes de la multiculturalidad que enriquece nuestro proyecto.

Uno de los principales objetivos de este proyecto Erasmus + KA229 ‘Enrichment is the result of meeting’ es precisamente enriquecernos con las diferentes nacionalidades  y culturas del centro y de los demás países socios. Así como abrir nuestro centro a Europa e internacionalizarlo.

Nationalities at our school

Our students from 6th grade are investigating the different nationalities of our school. Students, teachers and families have worked together to show to our school community our reality.

They have investigated their origins, parents and grandparents. Thanks to this activity they have realised the great multiculturalism we have at our school.

The Teachers made a positive value of this activity that allows all of us to know a bit more about our students and our community.

The different nationalities have been included into a physical map so we can have a look to the diversity we have in ‘CEIP Marqueses de Linares school’.

Nuestros estudiantes de sexto ha llevado a cabo la actividad de investigación de nuestras nacionalidades como parte del proyecto Erasmus + del centro.

Estudiantes, profesorado y familias han trabajado de forma conjunta para mostrar a nuestro centro la realidad cultural.

Han investigado los orígenes de sus padres y abuelos. Gracias a esta actividad han sido conscientes de la gran multiculturalidad que tenemos en nuestro centro.

El profesorado y toda la comunidad educativa han valorado de forma positiva esta actividad que nos permite conocer un poco más a nuestros estudiantes y nuestra comunidad.

Las diferentes nacionalidades han sido incluidas en un mapa físico para que podamos observar la diversidad de nuestro centro “ CEIP Marqueses de Linares”

Logo questionnaire international results

As you all know the first activity of the Erasmus projects was the design of the logo. After the local design we had a contest with the four international logos.

We have already published the final logo result bit as part of the evaluation and quality process of the project we are going to show you the official results of the logo and the number of votes.

So as a conclusion the Spanish logo has been the one chosen from all the participants as the official logo of the Erasmus + KA 229 ‘Enrichment is the result of meeting’

Spanish Local newspaper ‘Ideal’ 01-02-2021

 

 

The local spanish newspaper, Ideal Jaén, has published an interview related to our Erasmus+ KA229 at CEIP Marqueses de Lianres school.

They were also interested on the winner of our local logo contest, that will be part of the four final logos from all the participants in our Erasmus+. Pedro Jiménez Jordán, designed two hands shaking with the flags of the countries involved and the map of Europe.

All our educative community, teachers, students,  families and staff are happy to know about the project on the media.

El periódico Ideal recoge la noticia de nuestro poryecto Erasmus + KA 229 en el colegio CEIP Marqueses de Linares.

Se interesaron por el ganador local del concurso diseña tu logo, que representará a nuestro centro entre todos los socios implicados en el proyecto. Pedro Jiménez Jordán, diseñó dos manos estrechandose con las banderas en los cuatro dedos y el mapa de Europa.

Tanto la comunidad educativa del centro, como profesorado, alumnado,familias y personal del centro se alegran de poder ver plasmado el proyecto en las noticias y medios locales.

Spanish National Radio interview

RADIO RNE

On the 28th of January 2021, Radio Nacional from Spain (RNE), interviewed our coordinator and the student who wins the proposal for the activity ‘Design our Logo’. Our coordinator talked with Noelia Muñoz about the project, and how the school will implement it during the 24 moths that it will last.

They also talked with Pedro Jiménez Jordán as the winner of the local logo contest, about how he designed the logo and what is the aim that he would like to represent.

Now the school will digitize the logo, we will vote among the four logos, one for each partner, to see which the winner is.

This logo will be used as the image of our project at local and also at international level.

El pasasdo 28 de Enero de 2021, Radio Nacional de España, entevistó a nuestra coordinadora del proyecto y al ganador de la actividad “Diseña nuestro logo”. Noelia Muñoz, periodista de Radio Nacional, y Yolanda Jiménez, coordinadora del proyecto en nuestro centro, hablaron sobre cómo se va a implementar este tipo de proyectos europeos durante los 24 meses de duración.

También hablaron con Pedro Jiménez Jordán ganador del concurso de diseño del logo. Nos contó en qué se inspiró y qué quiso representar con este diseño.

Ahora el centro digitalizará el logo, y habrá una votación internacional entre los cuatro paises participantes.

El logo ganador será la imagen que represente al proyecto a nivel local e internacional.

Here you can listen to the interview of Rocio López from Radio Linares SER to our Spanish coordinator, Yolanda Jiménez, about our Erasmus+ KA229.

They talk about our project, our Italian, Greek and Romanian partners, the objectives we would like to achieve, and how to develop an Erasmus+ in this COVID situation. How they will adapt their mobilities into virtual mobilities so students will have opportunities to learn and interact.

A3: Design our logo Activity

 

The first activity of the project is designing our logo. Along the implementation of activities students will always be the centre of development that is why they are the ones who will create the logo.

There will be two levels of development, local and international level.

At local level in our school:

Due to the features of the activity all the students of our school, CEIP Marqueses de Linares, will be involved in the design.

From the 18th to the 22nd of January 2020 students from 3 to 12 years old presented their logo proposals.  Here are some examples.

 

After that period the Erasmus Commission of the school, formed by the Director, the Head of studies, the Secretary, the coordinator of the project, two teachers, two members from families and two students voted the one who will represent our school.

Congratulations to Pedro Jiménez Jordán from 6th B grade!!!

 

On Monday 1st February, there will be an international meeting to coordinate the second part of the activity development.

At international level:

There will be an international voting process among the four logos, one for each school, from the 8th to the 12th of February. In order to be a fair voting process and specific number of students, teachers and family members will participate in the voting process. So there will be the same number of participants from each country.

After that we will all know the winner who will represent or project along the whole process.

Good luck to all the participants, but especially to the Spanish one.
